What is Fankle?
Fankle is an AI work board. You drop in messy work in plain language. It turns that mess into cards, moves them through a simple flow, and prepares the next useful step.
What does “fankle” mean?
It is a Scots word for a tangle, muddle, or snarl. That is the whole idea: life comes in tangled, and the product helps you unfankle it.
Does Fankle do things automatically?
Yes, but only inside the boundaries you set. It can sort, split, draft, prepare, and move routine work through the board. Risky or outward-facing actions are held for you.
Will it send emails or messages for me?
No. Fankle can draft them. You review, edit, and send. That line does not move.
Is this just another brain-dump app?
No. Brain-dump apps capture the mess and leave it there. Fankle captures it, sorts it, gives it a next move, and can prepare the routine step.
Is this a calendar replacement?
Not exactly. Keep your calendar for events and hard commitments. Use Fankle for the moving work around them: tasks, follow-ups, decisions, errands, and the things that do not deserve a time block.

Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your captured text goes to Anthropic (Claude) so Fankle can classify and act on your work, and if you use voice capture the recording is transcribed by OpenAI — the audio itself is never stored on our servers. Neither provider uses your data to train their models.
